Vehicle repair charges
PA Auckland Six men appeared in the District Court at Auckland yesterday for a preliminary hearing on numerous charges including conspiracy to defraud the public, fake pretence relating to vehicle repairs, and threatening to kill or do grievous bodily harm. Mr J. Jaffe and Mr L. Warren, Justices of the Peace, ordered interim suppression of all evidence until the conclusion of the
hearing, which is expected to take about three days. The accused are Lance Clark Fraider, aged 25, unemployed, of Mt Albert; Danial Michael McCarthy, aged 35, manager, of Avondale, Joseph Owen Mouton, aged 22, manager of New Lynn; Ross John Fraider, aged 35, manager of Glen Eden, Mark Anthony Black, aged 22, foreman mechanic, of Blockhouse Bay; and Gray Allen, aged 32, tyre manager, of Avondale.
