RIACH, Evelyn (nee Edgar) — On December 8. 1983. loved cousin of John and Guy Cornish, and families, and fondly remembered by all her relations. Sadly missed.
SCOTT, Brewer Kennaird — On December 7. 1983, at the Rangltata River mouth, much beloved husband of Marjorie. Devon Lea. Mayfield, much loved and cherished father of Charlotte. William, and Juliet. loved son of Margaret and the late William Scott, loved son-in-law of Norman and May Murdoch, loved brother and brotner-in-law of Heather and Edmund Schmidt, and Nell and Jennifer, loved brother-in-law of Len and Barbara Murdoch, devoted friend of John, and a loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews; aged 56 years. (Result of an accident.) The Funeral service will be held at the Mayfield Presbyterian Church, on Monday. December 12, at 2 p.m., to be followed by private interment at Ashburton. SMITH, Violet Ellen (Vi) — On December 9. 1983, at The Princess Margaret Hospital, dearly loved wife of the late Bob, dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Ted and Bet (Australia), Reece and Doreen, Edna and the late Vale and the late Venle, and loved nanna of all her grandchildren and great-grand-children; in her 85th year.
