WORK INVOLVED: Construction of some 7300 metres of stopbank commencing at the State Highway 92 bridge and proceeding downstream to finish at the outlet of the Black Creek in Mr S. L. Lobb’s property. The stopbank is to be formed by carting fill from Borrow Areas and by excavating insltumaterial from alongside the proposed bank alignment over limited lengths. Some 75,000 cu. m. of fill is Involved In the job. INCIDENTAL WORK: Fencing, road ramps, farm ramps, grassing, culvert and flapgate installation, the cleaning of existing and excavation of new drainage ditches.
