Index peaks
The “Financial Times” of London’s All-Share Index of 750 issues reached a record high on Thursday of 468.03, up 4.44 on the day. The index touched its previous peak of 465.74 on August 18. The newspaper’s 500 share index, which excludes financial stocks, rose to 499.87, up 4.71 on the day.
