A winner on the course just a month ago, Rebel Royale could continue with his good form on the track when he tackles the Heretaunga Handicap, the first leg of the Wellington Racing Club’s T.A.B. double at Otaki tomorrow.

Rebel Royale, at five, rates as one of the best staying prospects in the lower half of the North Island. His win at Otaki was over 1600 m, but in one run meantime he was third in Rose and Thistle’s Wanganui Cup and he was not all that far away.
