Special correspondent Invercargill Kinross Onedin, a dashing winner of his last three starts, is the latest Southland pacer snapped up for the North American market by the Central Standardbred Agency. : The agency’s co-director, Mr Brian Meale, said yesterday that negotiations for the sale were finalised after his Southland agent, Doug
McNaught, trialled him in Invercargill on Monday. Kinross Onedin, a six-year-old half-brother by Knowing Bret to Remote, was prepared at Winton by Bob Beck for Fay and Peter Davis, of Makarewa. He closed his five-year-old campaign on a winning note at Ashburton in June and has won his only starts this season at the Invercargill and Wairio meetings.
