At the request of the Nelson-Marlborough National Parks and Reserves Board, the Department of Lands and Survey in co-operation with the Nelson Ski Club, Inc., has prepared an Environmental Impact Assessment covering the proposal for an extension to the present Mt Robert Road to gain improved access to the Mt Robert ski field. A copy fo the E.I.A. can be inspected at the offices of the Department of Lands and Survey throughout New Zealand or at the Park headquarters at Nelson Lakes. Copies may also be purchased from the Nelson office of the Department at a cost of $5. Persons or organisations wishing to comment on this proposal, must do so In the form of a written submission to the Nelson Lakes National Park Management Plan 1983 draft review, which is open for public comment until December 23, 1983.
