Hide the Loot, a promising two-year-old in the stable of Peter Jones at Riccarton, will not ran in the Morwenstow Juvenile at Rangiora on Monday. He was shin sore after exercising at Riccarton on Thursday, and will be put aside for several weeks.
Jones said there would be rewarding opportunities for his Smuggler colt in the autumn, when, it is proposed, there will be a >lO,OOO bonus for any two-year-old capable of winning races at Motukarara, Ashburton, and the Champagne Stakes at Riccarton.
