Meat schedule
Payments for manufacturing cow-related grades and bull beef have been reduced for the second successive week in the export meat schedule. Manufacturing cow prices next week will be down 3c a kilogram and bull beef 5c a kilogram. No changes have been made to Pl steer-related grades, bare meat lamb and mutton, or to prices for lamb and sheep skins. The new South island schedule for manufacturing cow and bull beef grades is: Manufacturing: Under 145 kg, 91c; 145.5 kg to 170 kg, 112 c; 170.5 kg to 195 kg, 116 c; 195.5 kg to 220 kg, 121 c; and over 220.5 kg, 125 c. Bull: Under 195 kg, 136 c; 195.5 kg to 220 kg, 153 c; 220.5 kg to 245 kg, 161 c; 245.5 kg to 270 kg, 165 c; 270.5 kg to 295 kg, 169 c; 295.5 kg to 320 kg, 172 c; 320.5 kg to 345 kg, 177 c; and over 345.5 kg, 183.
