Shares alloted
The New Zealand Salmon Company, Ltd, is expected to be listed on the stock exchange next Tuesday or Wednesday after the completion of allotment of public shares this week. The issue of 1,450,000 50c shares, at a 50c premium, closed heavily oversubscribed earlier this month. The directors said many applicants had been unsuccessful in obtaining shares from the public pool and a large number of subscribers had their applications reduced.
As wide a spread of shareholders as possible had been sought “in the interests of the company and of the industry."
