Jail for robbery
PA Wellington Kelvin John Wiliams, aged 20, unemployed, of Dannevirke, was sentenced to 2% years jail when he appeared in the High Court at Wellington yesterday on two charges of robbery and burglary. In the High Court at Napier a jury acquitted Williams on a charge or raping a woman, aged 91, in her home at Waipukurau on July 19. He pleaded guilty to burg--5 of the woman’s home robbing her of $6O.
