29 entered for $100,000 N.Z. Cup
Seventeen open class horses, including five from Australia, are included among the 29 nominations received for the $lOO,OOO New Zealand Cup, which will be run at Addington Raceway on Tuesday, November 8. The other 11 entries include horses requiring one or two wins to be correctly placed on the front of the country’s major staying test.
The Australian horses entered are the Victorian trotter, Scotch Notch, and the pacers, Guest of Honour, Willadios, Steel Jaw and Bundanoon. Entries for the race are.— Ansett, Armalight, Ben, Bonnie’s Chance, Borana, Bundanoon, Camelot, Delightful Lady, Derby, Enterprise, Guest of Honour, Hands Down, Hilarious Guest, Jilaire’s Chance, Joy Boy, Kiwi Lord, Miss Clevedon, Our Mana, Rain Girl, Right Bower, Scotch Notch, Stortford Lodge, Steel Jaw, Sugar Ray Robinson, Sun Seeker, Tarlad, Te Puke Expects, Trilobal, Willadios.
