Mt Cook holding
Dominion Breweries, Ltd, has completed acquisition of 20 per cent of the capital of the Mount Cook Group, Ltd. The Wellington sharebrokers, Francis, Allison, Symes and Company, said yesterday their purchase on behalf of DB had been completed and they had withdrawn from the market.
DB emerged as a “friendly” but at first anonymous buyer of Mt Cook shares as the latter fought a bid by TNL Group, Ltd, Nelson, to acquire its capital. TNL said late last week its offer for Mt Cook still stood.
