U.S.S.H. sued The Soviet Union has been sued for ?USIOO million for shooting down an unarmed Korean Air Lines jet carrying 269 people last month. The suit also seeks SUSIIO million from the airline. The suit was filed by Western Goals, a non-profit education organisation founded by the late congressman, Larry McDonald, a Georgia Democrat who was aboard the plane. — Chicago. Agca criticised The Tass news agency has claimed Mehmet Ali -Agca, the Turkish terrorist who shot Pope John Paul 11, has shown himself to be “an inveterate liar,” during a»-re-enactment of his movements on the day he tried to kill the Pontiff. — Moscow
