Greyhounds Easy win for Supreme Domino
Supreme Domino won his sixth race on end when successful at the Ashburton County . Greyhound Club’s Sweepstake meeting at Chertsey yesterday. After beginning well from the inside draw, Supreme Domino trailed Wonder Wadderin to the back
straight, took charge before the home turn, and cleared, • away to win easily by four lengths in a smart 31.02 s for the 530 m. Wonder Wadderin held second place, three lengths clear of his kennel mate, Wadderin Lass, which was making ground solidly towards the end. Daphne’s Disco confirmed her rating as one of the most promising stayers in Canterbury with an impressive win in the 760 m event. Last early, and still well back entering the back straight for the last time, Daphne’s Disco picked .up the leaders in fine fashion, and then cleared out to win by five lengths in the respectable time of 46.41.
