Synchronised swimmers
A Canterbury team of 10 synchronised swimmers has bieen chosen for the Wellington championships to be held at the Freyberg Pool' this weekend. The team is especially strong in the 12 years and under events but its leading competitor, Wendy Anink will
not be swimming. The team is: Open: Karen Day. 15, 16 and 17 years: Nicola Priest. 13 and 14 years: Angela Haffenden. 12 years and under: Lea Pearson, Jeanine Marriot, Karen Shakelton, Kathryn Hurley, Debbie Saba, Juliet Saba, Michelle Cherrie. Manager. Mrs Marianne Potts.
