MANIOTOTO COUNTY COUNCIL CONTRACT NO. 577 STATE HIGHWAY 87 - RECONSTRUCTION AND SEALING 1983-84. THE Maniototo County Council invites suitably experienced contractors to register for the above contract which comprises approximately 3.3 km of carriageway reconstruction and chip sealing from Hyde Township northwards to Capburn Hill on State Highway 87. A brief description of the work contaoned in this contract includes the construction of approximately 15,000 cubic metres of bulk earthworks, benching, etc; 200 lineal metres of 375 mm dia. culvertlng, 850 lineal metres of fencing; the supply and construction of subbasecourse and basecourse metal aggregates; the supply and construction of bituminous materials and stone sealing chips together with other ancillary carriageway and associated works.
