Service for anglers
The automatic telephone report for anglers in North Canterbury, which gives up to date information on river conditions, will start today. The report, organised by the North Canterbury Acclimatisation Society, coincides with the fishing season, which opens to-
morrow. Each morning, from 9.30 a.m., the report will give the conditions of the Rakaia, Waimakariri, Selwyn, Ashley, Hurunui and Waiau rivers.
The report’s telephone number is 62-986 and will run until the fishing season ends, on April 30 next year.
