Rolleston auction
Parliamentary reporter An auction to dispose of the Crown-owned land at Rolleston was planned for December 8, said the Minister of Lands, Mr Elworthy, yesterday. Responding to questions from Miss Ruth Richardson (Nat., Selwyn), Mr Elworthy said the timing of the auction would give people with existing tenancies the opportunity to bid at the auction.
