Ski-field’s ‘family fun day’
Skiers at Porter Heights will be able to stay on the slopes until 6 p.m. tomorrow. Both T-bars will continue running until that time to provide the first twilight ski-ing of the season.
The ski-field is holding its annual “family fun day” and there will be a continuous
barbecue from 11 a.m. with free sausages and sauce. Staff will be in fancy-dress and visitors are invited to do likewise. Other attractions include microlite flying demonstrations, helium-filled balloons and lolly scrambles for the children. A helicopter sight-seeing service will also be available.
