Rate of discharge Is expected to be 2 per cent greater than under existing stormwater discharge conditions. Note: This Is a readvertisement due to an error In designation of discharge point when previously advertised on July 23, 1983. 5205 - I. C. GEORGE, BARRYS BAY (a) to discharge up to 2.5 cubic metres of nontoxic wash water per day from cheese manufacture operations, at a maximum rate of 7.5 litres per second, Into the Waterfall Stream at S.H. No. 75, Barrys Bay; (b) to discharge In emergency situations only, up to 10 cubic metres per day of whey derived from cheese manufacture, Into the Waterfall Stream at S.H. No. 75, Barrys Bay. Discharge to be made only when breakdown of transport or equipment and after storage facilities are exhausted. 5206 - P. S. NORTHCOTE, WAIAU to take 3840 cubic metres of water per day at the rate of 45 litres per second from a proposed gallery well within the Mason River gravels at property S.H. No. 70, for spray Irrigation purposes. 5207 - N. J. AND N. R. JOHNSTON, OHOKA to take 300 cubic metres of water per day, 3 days per week at the rate of 15 litres per second from a proposed 150 mm well, 13 metres deep on property, Jacksons Road, for spray and trickle Irrigation purposes. 5208 (a) and (b) - D. L. MCLACHLAN, OXFORD to divert up to 3456 cubic metres of water per day at the approximate rate of 40 litres per second from Gammans Creek at an existing water race diversion structure near Lueas Road, and to discharge the water In approximately the same quantities back to Gammans Creek about Ikm downstream, at a point below Bush Road. Purpose: to provide stockwater for six properties, a wildlife habitat and an Improved aesthetic environment. 5209 - A. D. F. BASTIAANSE, LOBURN to take 10 cubic metres of water per day, 2 days per week at the rate of 2 litres per second from a 1000 mm well, 2.5 metres deep within the Makerlkeri River gravels at property, Main Loburn Road, for trickle Irrigation purposes. 5210 - INNISHMORE FARM LTD, OXFORD (a) and (b) to divert by means of a 2.5 metre high weir, 2970 cubic metres of water per day at the rate of 38 litres per second from an Internal farm drain system, and to discharge the water Into a storage pond on property between Quigleys and Warren Roads and Sjf. No. 72;-(c) to take 594 cubic metres of water per day at the rate of 7.6 litres per second from a 300 mm well, 70 metres deep at the above property, to supplement the water storage pond; (d) to take 3564 cubic metres of water per day at the rate of 45 litres per second from the water storage pond on the above property, for spray irrigation purposes. SUBMISSIONS OR OBJECTIONS The above applications may be examined at the office of the North Canterbury Catchment Board, corner Latimer Square and Worcester Street, Christchurch, during office hours. Any body or person may at any time within 28 days of this notice, lodge with the Board written submissions on any applications or ah objection to any application. Every objection shall be on the ground that the grant of the application would prejudice the objector’s Interests or the Interests of the public generally, and shall be made In writing setting out the grounds on which the objector relies. Every objection shall be supported by a statutory declaration verifying the contents thereof. PUBLIC NOTICE OF PROPOSED APPLICATION TO THE NEW ZEALAND PORTS AUTHORITY FOR CONSENT TO CAPITAL EXPENDITURE BY THE LYTTELTON HARBOUR BOARD NOTICE is hereby given that the Lyttelton Harbour Board proposes, at Its meeting to be held on the second day of November. 1983, to consider a motion to apply to the New Zealand Ports Authority for its consent to expend, out of the proceeds of money borrowed or to be borrowed by the Board, the sum of $1,400,000 for the purpose of upgrading the No. 2 Berth at Cashin Quay, Lyttelton. The work required includes the replacement of part of the existing timber decking with a heavy duty reinforced concrete surfacing and a reduction in the number of railway tracks serving the Berth, and will be carried out between March 1984 and March 1985. Loan servicing charges are to be met from revenue of the Board.
