Hospital Bd Appointments WELLINGTON HOSPITAL BOARD WELLINGTON CLINICAL SCHOOL OF MEDICINE CONSULTANT - ACCIDENT AND EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT WELLINGTON HOSPITAL THE Wellington Hospital Board Invites applications from qualified Medical Practitioners for the wholetime position of consultant, Accident and Emergency Department, Wellington Hospital. The position is considered of prime importance and requires a registered medical practitioner of specialist status Interested in developing and improving the subject of emergency medicine in this region. An innovative approach is required and while all possible support will be given it must be accepted that in the funding position of the Wellington Hospital Board at present, Improvements will have to flow from rearrangements within the existing resources. The position would suit a person with administrative and clinical experience and with the necessary qualities to motivate and teeach others. Salary will be from — $35,121 to $45,213 a year of the Specialists Automatic Salary Scale. H| NORTH CANTERBURY HOSPITAL BOARD RESEARCH AND SYSTEMS OFFICER CENTRAL ADMINISTRATION A RESEARCH and Systems Officer who will be attached to the Resource Management Services Unit, Is required for this post. The successful applicant should be at least twenty-one years of age, have a tertiary qualification majoring In statistics and computer science. Working experience In these areas would be a distinct advantage. The areas of operations would cover statistics, health research projects, E.D.P. applications and management services projects. The officer will be required to undertake a formal training programme. Salary will be in accordance with the North and South Canterbury and Ashburton Hospital Boards Clerical Award. Conditions of Appointment are available from the Director of Finance with whom applications, setting out in full details of age, experience, qualifications, etc, together with the names and addresses of two referees, close on Wednesday, October 12, 1983.
