JOURNALISTS THE NEW ZEALAND Women’s Weekly, growing in circulation and readership, invites applications from experienced journalists for two key editorial positions: PRODUCTION EDITOR Responsible to the editor for co-ordinating copy flow and production schedules. The position requires first-class sub-edit-ing skills, experience in supervising subbing staff and a knowledge of cold-type composition and colour and black and white offset printing. The successful applicant must be able to work strictly to deadlines. NEWS EDITOR Responsible to the editor for organising assignments for a staff of seven writers, three photographers and New Zealand and international correspondents. He or she must have a flair for developing topical story ideas. Experience with colour transparencies and black and white pictures is desirable.
