Costing The increased demand for management information requires the appointment of a Cost Accountant with the ability to develop and implement new costing systems for the expanded works. This requires someone with substantial senior level manufacturing costing experience, supervision skills and top level communication ability. Experience with computerised accounting systems is essential. Management Reporting The primary function of this position is the consolidation and preparation of monthly management financial reports, annual budgets and other special projects for management. Sales Accounting This is a new position involving responsibility for all New Zealand Steel's sates transactions including sales reporting, credit control and provision of accounting information to Marketing. Accounting qualifications are not as important as strong interpersonal skills, experience in credit control, commercial procedures and sales analysis. Financial Modelling This position requires someone capable of developing and implementing major financial modelling projects and general training of other accounting staff in the use of financial modelling.
