Radio loss
The Independent Broadcasting Company, Ltd, which operates Radio Waikato, had an unaudited loss for the half year ended July 31 of $16,408, compared with a profit of $1992 in the corresponding six months of last year. The directors say that, although the result is disappointing, the station is now trading profitably and the directors expect that to continue, with development of FM.
