Auditory shows dash
Special correspondent Dunedin Auditory put dash into her work at Wingatui yesterday morning in preparation for the South Island Thoroughbred Stakes on Monday. Auditory was partnered by Noble River ana they did well to return 50.2 s for 800 m on a heavy sand. Noble River had something in hand at the finish. Warning Note was travelling well outside Acco at the finish of 800 m in 51.85, the last 600 in 39.35.
Boulder City finished well clear of Solar Pulse over 1000 m in Imin 6.45, the last 800 m in 53.95.
