Freight car derailed
PA Masterton A freight car was toppled and about 50 metres of track destroyed when a goods train was derailed just north of Mauriceville on the Woodville to Master-
ton line early yesterday. The three persons aboard were not hurt. Freight trains were being redirected through the Manawatu Gorge yesterday and passengers were being carried by bus.
