Easy win for Taranaki
PA New Plymouth Taranaki scored another easy North Island second division rugby competition win on Saturday when it downed Poverty Bay 44-3 at Rugby Park, New Plymouth. Saturday’s result means Taranaki has scored a huge 210 points in the three North Island second division games it has played so far. The other results have been 97-nil against East Coast and 69-10 against Horowhenua. The top scorer was a former All Black, Murray Watts, who ran in three tries from centre.
