Young England wins test
PA London Young England scored its first win of the three-test series against Young Australia with a 67-run win in the final test at Chelmsford on Saturday. Young Australia, requiring 300 to win in its second innings, resumed at three for 94, but lost the wickets of Craig McNamara and lan Healy in the first hour to be in trouble at five for 126.
Darren Ramshaw, who made a splendid 69, was the seventh batsman out with the score at 160 and the end seemed near. Andrew Knight, Bronko Djura and Brett Mulder played solidly towards the end of the innings but the target always seemed out of reach. Young Australia won the series 2-1, the same margin by which they won the oneday series.
