Rowing on Monday
Highlights from Monday morning’s competition in the world rowing championships in Duisberg, West Germany, will be screened at 7 a.m. on One on Monday. New Zealand is the defending champion in the eights, after a superb win in Switzerland last year. That win was something of a comeback — New Zealand had slipped from being one of the top-ranked teams in the world, after winning the gold medal at the Munich Olympics in 1972.
