S.I. title to Girls High
PA Kaikoura Christchurch Girls High School beat Kaikoura High, 4423, in the final of the South Island schoolgirls’ basketball tournament played at Kaikoura last night. IsJhe first semi-final, one of the -4op seeds, Rangi Ruru Girls School, lost to Kaikoura
in a close finish, 44-46. Kaikoura led, 32-11, at half time. In the match for third and fourth places, Rangi Ruru beat Bayfield High School, Dunedin, Kaikorai Valley, Dunedfe; beat- Nelson College A into fifth place, 45-42.
