Agrinion scratched
Agrinion, one of the prepost favourites for the second leg of the T.A.B. double at the New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club’s meeting tomorrow, has been scratched. - There is nothing amiss with the mare. However, her West Melton trainer, Robin Butt, feels she is not quite sufficiently forward for a start this week, in spite of a winning run at the trials on Wednesday. The talented Highbank pacer, Norton, was scratched from the Louisson Handicap after having a corn removed from a foot, earlier in the week.
