Ham Cup to Burnside
Burnside High School won the Ham Cup when it beat Papanui High School in a secondary schools rugby league match 28-10 at Papanui High School yesterday. Nigel Ward (3), Ross Todd (2) and Brett Williams
scored tries for Burnside and Williams converted two. Andrew Smith scored two tries and kicked a penalty for Papanui. Bumside will face four challenges for the cup before the end of the season including one from Papanui.
