N.Z. scientists in Russian boat
Sir,—lt should be no surprise to the M.A.F. or anyone else that the Russians broke an agreement over the joint fishing research venture; they do it all the time and the Western world continually lets them get away with it. But that is riot really the point. We, as a relatively free nation, should have nothing to do with any nation whose stated and never retracted aim is total world conquest. They have a complete disregard for individual liberties and even treat the majority of their own people to a -tyranny that would , shock most New. Zealanders; Trade or no trade, we can do without them. — Yours, GERARD C. BAILEY. . ' . jjiHy 16.1M3. • ■
