‘Mr Asia’ sequel
NZPA Melbourne A man was remanded in the City Court in Melbourne yesterday on charges of having murdered two “Mr Asia” drug gang couriers, Isobel Martha Joy Wilson and Douglas Robert Wilson, near Melbourne in April, 1979.
Gianfranco Tizzone was remanded by Mr John Dugan, S.M., to appear on September 26, and also to face a charge of armed
robbery in December, 1978. No pleas were entered and Tizzone did not appear in court.
Tizzone was recently granted bail by the Supreme Court because of ill-health and his address was suppressed. On Thursday, James Frederick Bazley was also charged with the murders and was remanded without plea to appear again on September 1.
