The popular British actor, Norman Bowler, and Karen Beckett, of Christchurch, enjoying themselves at the Super Liquor Man outlet in Cathedral Square yesterday. Mr Bowler, who came to New Zealand as a guest of Telethon, leaves for England tomorrow. He spent yesterday afternoon promoting two New Zealand wines at the liquor store. Miss Beckett is a sales representative of Pacific Vinyards, Henderson. A familiar face in Christchurch after taking part in two Telethons, Mr Bowler already has tenative plans for a return. He has been invited to take part in a stage play in October.
