The appointee will be based at Wellington Hospital and will be responsible for the Speech Therapy service there, treating patients with a wide range of communicative disabilities for all areas of the hospital, including the Regional Neurosurgical Unit and E.N.T., Neurological and Geriatric patients. In addition, the Supervising Speech Therapist is responsible for the development of Speech Therapy services within the Board as well as supervising and co-ordi-nating the activities of the speech therapists at the various Hospital Board institutions. Applicants should have a N.Z. Teachers Certificate endorsed in Speech Therapy or a recognised overseas speech therapy qualification. At least 3 years experience in a Hospltai/Health environment is required, preferably with clinical experience with adults. The salary range for this position is $18,687 to $20,557 a year.
