The vacancies we wish to fill are as follows: LEAD CONTROL SYSTEMS ENGINEER Responsible for ensuring the effective utilization of control instruments, computer systems, and analytical instrument systems. He will have a team of four working for him, and will have five years previous experience in control systems management in a large plant. LEAD PROCESS ENGINEER Responsible for aiding the optimization of production, efficiency and reliability of the plant by solving process related problems by changing operational procedures, equipment upgrading, process modification etc. He or she will be responsible for the efficient performance of the process team, and will have previous experience in methanol or a related chemical. The successful applicant will have graduated in chemical engineering and have at least five years experience in the field. WATER TREATMENT TECHNOLOGIST Responsible for performance optimization of all water treatment systems at the plant. These include a suspended solids removal system, a demin plant, potable water system, cooling water and boiler feedwater systems. The successful applicant will have an NZSE or equivalent related to water treatment and at least two years experience in the area. On the job training will be given. The remuneration and benefit package reflect the importance of these positions in the efficient operation of the plant and include assistance with relocation and housing.
