Oamaru boy drowns
PA Oamaru A boy drowned near Oamaru yesterday afternoon after wandering away from his father on a woodcutting trip. He was Christopher Paul Stanger, aged five, of Oamaru. The boy disappeared at 12.15 p.m. and was found soon after in the Enfield Stream. Resuscitation attempts were unsuccessful.
