Riccarton Knitwit News \ V DEAR KNITWITS, Undoubtedably the highlight of our convention in Taupo was the privilege of meeting Vera Randall. As you know she started Knitwit in 1971 in Australia and having met her, it is easy to see why Knitwit is so successful. Her enthusiasm and vitality is an inspiration to us all. Hopefully within 2-3 weeks I will be able to announce to you all when we will be holding some of our extra classes on swimwear, etc. Remember these lessons are 3 hours in duration and cost $l2 and are only open to Certified Knitwits. Several more of our printed poly cottons have arrived and are quite different from anything that we have had, and will look superb whether it be underwear, nightwear or T-shirts. Also some different sweat shirting for those casual tops. For sewing these lovely fabrics come and see Helen about the Pfaff range of sewing machines. We have a "Special” on at the moment with 3 machines plus an extra trade-in bonus on all other machines. Just watch the ease they make of all those sewing techniques.
