Less work for engineers
PA Wellington A 7 per cent average drop in the future workload of consulting engineers in the four months from February has been shown in a survey, says the Association of Consulting Engineers. There had been a 5 per cent drop in the previous four months the association said. The worst-hit was Auckland, where more firms were located than in other regions, with a 20 per cent drop. Five of seven regions surveyed showed a drop in staff- in the same four months.
