In search of owls
Margaret finds herself completely in the dark in more ways than one in today’s “Wildtrack” programme, screening on One at 5.30 p.m., when she goes in search of owls in Hagley Park. Are there any there? As well, Robin Hood, Maid Marion and the Sheriff of Nottingham get tangled up in a medieval adventure in forests of two very different kinds, and there is a look at a book which combines story telling with animal design and tips on good observation of nature. More will be said about the design-an-animal competition on today’s programme — in particular what kind of animals are to be designed this year.
