A.C.C. to fund research
PA Wellington About $1 million has been allocated by the Accident Compensation Corporation this financial year to promote research and special projects concerned with safety, accident prevention, and the rehabilitation of injured people.
“By making financial grants, the corporation is able to cover a wide field and give support in several areas,” said the A.C.C.’s managing director, Mr Len Fahy. The corporation’s new policy
calls for applications for grants for innovative research and for proposals in general, recreational, and occupational safety and the rehabilitation of accident victims, he said.
