Raparua I County Council TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1977 PUBLIC NOTICE OF DISTRICT SCHEME VARIATION THE Paparua County Council has prepared the following variation to the First Review of the District Planning Scheme. VAIATION NO. 23 ROAD WIDENING DESIGNATION REDUCED BUCHANANS ROAD. This variation has been notified to reduce the designated road widening on the north side of Buchanans Road at the Carmen Road end. The current designation in the Reviewed Scheme is for a 20 metre strip. It is proposed to reduce this to a 5 metre strip as the New Zealand Railways have been unable to confirm that the additional widening is still required for an overbridge over the proposed Sockburn-Styx Railway line. The 5 metre road widening is retained for the planned widening of Buchanans Road as minor arterial road. Full copies of the variation may be Inspected at the Council Offices, 149 ;Maln South Road during normal office hours. Submissions and objections to the variation may be made by any body or person affected or representing some relevant aspect of the public interest. Submissions and objections shall be In writing in Form C prescribed in the Schedule of the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1978 or to the like effect and shall be lodged at the office of the Council not later than 4.00 p.m. on July 29,1983. Copies of form C are available from the Council offices. At a later date every submission or objection will be open for public inspection and any body or person who wishes to support or oppose any submission or objection will be entitled to do so.
