Dental nurses for Gulf?
PA Wellington New Zealand school dental nurses might serve in Gulf States under a Government scheme, the Minster of Health, Mr Malcolm, has said. He said that he has been exploring with Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Qatar the possibility of assisting the Gulf States to develop dental services like those in New Zealand, Nurses from New Zealand would set up and provide a service in those countries, without leaving the New Zealand service, the Minister told a State Dental
Nurses’ Institute conference in Wellington. Nationals from Gulf states would come to New Zealand to receive training. Mr Malcolm said he was not sure whether he could translate the plans into “practical programmes, but the opportunities seem good and worth the effort I am making.” “It provides increased employment and overseas travel opportunities without necessarily breaking your service with the Government,” Mr Malcolm told the nurses.
