MANAKAU CITY COUNCIL TO REGISTERED PRACTISING ARCHITECTS MANUKAU CITY COUNCIL is intending to build on Lloyd Elsmore Park, Pakuranga, an extensive Leisure Centre Complex comprising Swimming Pools, Recreation Centre, plus ancillary facilities. Council is desirous of achieving the best design possible for this project and has therefore decided to conduct an architectural competition. Architects interested in narticipating in the competition are invited to register their interest with Council together with a resume of the practices structure and its ability to fullv design and supervise a project of this magnitude which is likely to exceed S3M. Some examples of completed works would be an advantage. It is intended that up to five architects will be selected to participate in the competition. Council has appointed an architectural consultant to assist in the selection of the participants and ultimately the successful entry. Each of the five competitiors selected will be provided with a comprehensive brief of the project and will receive a set fee for their entry.
