New council formed
PA Wellington A New Zealand Beef Promotion Council has been established. The promotion will cover a wide' crosssection of the industry. It will comprise promotion for the Meat Retailers’ Federation, Meat Producers’ Board, Meat Wholesalers’ Association, Federated Farmers, Stock and Station Agents’ Association, Electoral College, Meat Exporters’ Council, Abattoirs Association, and beef breed societies. The new council is chaired by Mr Peter Snelling, of Borthwicks.
