Appeal thanks
Sir,—Last Saturday, thanks to a fine day, and many dedicated workers, Corso held a very successful appeal. I would like to thank all the people who helped: Those who made donations, those who spent part or all of the day collecting, the leaders who organised an area, the many people including the bank staff who worked so well at the collection centre. Without this generous support we could not carry on with our important work — Yours, etc., MARJORIE OCKENDEN, Christchurch Corso Appeal Organiser. June 14, 1983.
