Burns in C.N.G. blast
PA Auckland A service station attendant was taken ■ to Middlemore Hospital with burns to the face and hands yesterday afternoon when a car he was' filling with C.N.G. exploded. The station’s assistant manager, Mr Christopher Goble, identified the injured man as Kevin WihangL
The cause of the accident, at Springsgate Service Station in Springs Road, east Tamaki, was not known, Mr Goble said. Mr Goble put out the fire before the Fire Service arrived but, he said, the front of the car was burnt out. Mr Goble said Mr Wihangi suffered minor burns. .
