Hole-in-one
Sid McCann, now 68, has been playing golf for half of his life. On Sunday he had his first hole in one, on the seventh at his home course, Rawhiti. The hole is 159 m in length, and McCann used a 2-iron. McCann was wellknown as a senior cricketer, having scored more than 3000 runs for the St Albans senior team.
